MIDAS Information Technology Co., Ltd. has released MIDAS NFX 2018 R1 (buld 20170904), is an integrated finite element analysis program for structural, CFD simulation and optimization design. It provides efficient and accurate analysis together with an integrated pre-post processor, developed by senior mechanical engineers with over 20 years of CAE software development expertise.



Enhancements in NFX 2018 R1 (buld 20170904):

The 2018 version of midas NFX contains several improvements for easier and faster meshing, it includes improvements for fatigue analysis, CFD boundary condition definition and post-processing tools.

The following features and improvements have been added:

- Mesh layer control tool
- CFD: "Show unassociated faces" tool
Analysis
- Random Vibration fatigue calculation support
- Fatigue - Mean Stress Correction methods has been added
Post-Processing
- Uniform vector alignment
- Streamline saving option
